Rules
School uniform
Students are required to come to school in proper uniform in the morning. When attending school functions, students shall wear the official school uniform.
for girls:

The girls uniform shall constitute of a skirt or trousers and white blouse. The uniform follows a prescribed cut and cloth. tie is absolutely required.

Only black leather shoes and white socks can be worn with the school uniform.

Girls should look neat and prim
for boys:
-
Shorts/ pants and white polo shirt with the GIS seal/badge should be worn as the official school uniform with a tie.

Black leather shoes and white socks must be worn with the daily uniform.

During winter, long pants and coat shall be worn.
Inside School Premises

Students shall not be allowed to leave the premises of the school during class hours except in cases of emergency. The approval of the headmaster or administrator is needed for security reasons.

Students shall observe cleanliness and orderliness in every place at all times.

Students involved in quarrelling, fighting and provoking a brawl or intimidating others to cause disorder will be subjected to disciplinary action.

Students found to be in possession of deadly weapons shall be dealt with accordingly.

Students are forbidden to engage in any gambling activity.

Students shall not steal the property or equipment of the school or the personal property of another student, teacher or employee of the school.

Students shall not use profane or obscene language either written or verbal in communicating with any other teacher, any authorized school personnel, or another student.

Use of cell phones and electronic devices are not allowed during class hours.
Outside School

Students shall be aware of their responsibilities in upholding and projecting the good image of the school.

Students are prohibited from using the name of the school in any unauthorized off-campus activities such as excursions, parties, picnics and the like.

The school shall not be held liable for injury, accident or death which may result from unsanctioned activity.
School Facilities

Every student shall help the school preserve and maintain its facilities. Thus, the student shall handle all equipment with reasonable care in the use of chalkboards or whiteboards and other classroom supplies for appropriate purposes. Students shall refrain making marks, writing, carving or the like on the wall, desks, comfort rooms or any part of the school campus. Any act that shall cause damage to school property shall be considered an act of vandalism.

Every student shall help maintain cleanliness in the classroom and in the school premises.

Permission for the use of the Learning Resource Centre, Computer Laboratory and Science Laboratory shall be obtained from the office or coordinators.
